This has been a long time coming, Last year i invested a lot of time and some money improving my home network ready for Fibre.

At the centre of my network is a BT HomeHub 4 (Subject to Change) i don’t really like this router i cant wait to get the Hub5 when i get fibre in hopefully the not to distant future.

The Hub4 only has one Gigabit connection, I have a gigabit switch which links most of my network together. I Use a WD MyCloud 3TB which is my central storage for Films and secondary backup for my work.

I Have a 100MB Switch to connect my Smart TV, PS3 and XBOX to my network for light usage.

My room is out of the Wifi Range so i have a gigabit router out here that is hard wired from the switch via a Cat6 cable, I Use a Gigabyte Brix connected to that router to view and watch all of my films via an installation of Kodi (Formally XBMC) on a Windows 8.1 OS (All Hardware Specs with be below)

Everything else is connected via Wifi, I have an iPad, iPhone and an ASUS X552C.
